Former Arsenal, England forward Theo Walcott retires at 34

Theo Walcott was relegated to Southampton in 2023. 

Theo Walcott has resigned from proficient football at 34 years old, the previous Britain and Weapons store forward declared on Friday.

As a result of Southampton's foundation, Walcott joined the Weapons store at 16 years old in 2006 and scored 108 objectives in 397 appearances.

He won the FA Cup two times in the 2014-15 and 2016-17 seasons and the Local area Safeguard in 2015 and 2017 during his 12-year stay at the Chief Association club.

Walcott, who has been covered multiple times, joined Everton in 2018 preceding getting back to Southampton borrowed in the 2020-21 season and taking the action long-lasting.

"The principal second I put my football boots on matured 10, was the beginning of an extraordinary excursion for me," Walcott said via web-based entertainment.

"From playing in the recreation area with companions to acting in the absolute greatest arenas before enormous groups across the world. The help displayed to me over the course of this time has been mind-blowing inside and out, and I'm genuinely appreciative."

Walcott turned into Britain's most youthful ever senior player at 17 when he played in a cordial triumph over Hungary at Old Trafford in 2006.

"I might want to say a major thank you to every one of the chiefs and mentors I've worked with, particularly Harry [Redknapp] for giving me the beginning [at Southampton] and Arsene [Wenger] for showing conviction and backing to me when I joined [Arsenal] at just 16 years of age," Walcott added.
